Blessed

This morning's class at church was talking about speaking with grace. A comment was made that we are blessed because of our faith. It stuck with me. I feel so blessed and I know that it is all from God. The people I know and love, including my family and friends are one of the blessings I am most grateful for today. Another, and most importantly, I am blessed because I know that my Savior lives. When I asked Ellie what she learned about in Sunday school this morning she made the comment that they didn't talk about anything "Eastery" just about "that big rock being rolled away from the tomb, and angels, and Jesus living." Shame on me for not making this holiday more about the celebration that He is Alive! We did talk about it, and now she knows that her lesson was as "Eastery" as it could possibly be.

Our Easter Sunday was wonderful and followed a wonderful week of us being in Charlotte with Justin. All of us being together for the week just felt right. Charlotte just felt right. I don't have any better words to describe the week and my feelings about our upcoming move, except it feels right. So back to today. The kids woke up and found their Easter baskets. Hayden got candy, books and the Yogi Bear movie, Ellie got candy, books and the Tangled movie. Everyone was quite pleased with what EB brought! We got dressed for church and went to Sunday school and worship. Then, came home and had our Easter dinner. We had friends that have spent Easter with us every year, and others that this was our first Easter spent together. It was truly a day of sharing friendships, food, laughs, food, fun, food. Okay, so we ate a lot of good food, but had a lot of fun doing it! After dinner the kids went outside and found tons of eggs. Now we have tons of candy. Awesome. We spent the rest of the day enjoying our friends, and hoping that they'll really come to Charlotte next year and have Easter with us there. It was a great day. Unfortunately, Justin had to go back to Charlotte, I had to get the house back to being ready to show to perspective buyers, kids needed baths, lunches needed prepared for tomorrow. Life goes on... and my cup runneth over with blessings.
