So Amanda... this post is for you! Our happy life continues. Apparently the last time I wrote anything was Easter weekend. The crazy thing is...what is there to say? We continue to feel blessed beyond measure. This week has been fun. Last Tuesday I turned 34, which I am told is officially mid thirties. Yikes! It was such an awesome day. My students were wonderful, making cupcakes for me, gifts, etc. Came home from work, got the kids and Justin walks in the door with a gorgeous, pink, rose bouquet. He rushed us all out the door to get my surprise gift... a brand new bike! We met some of our favorite friends for dinner at The Olive Garden. Yum-O! It was a great day from beginning to end. The week was busy because it was the last week of school for the students. Between parties, kickball games, football games, ice cream socials and field day there was absolutely no time to be bored. This weekend, Hayden got his first haircut- adorable!! I will post some pictures when I'm on the computer that actually has the pics on it. Father's Day was fun and relaxing. I hope Justin enjoyed the day. We woke him up with presents, went to church and went out to lunch. Relaxed for the rest of the day at home. It was a nice day. Ellie has decided today to increase my level of patience. I thought I had a lot of it, but apparently, when it comes to a 4 year old... I may need a little bit more. 95% of the time she is the sweetest, most precious child I've ever met. 5% of the time, I think the child has lost her mind. Completely. Today she thought it would be fun to goof around on the escalator. She fell while getting on and was on her hands and knees. I was a nervous wreck, helped her up and told her that we DON'T mess around on escalators. We get to the bottom and what does my precious angel do?!?! Jumps off! Seriously?!?! She is awesome. Well, summer is about to start. I have 2 days of work days and then...Let the FUN begin!!! Stay posted!
